My desire is to help small business and non-profit leaders lead healthy strong organizations while keeping themselves healthy and strong. As a consultant, I often act as both a strategist and a therapist for your business, seeing the problems you may be missing and working with you and your team (whether that's a paid staff, a group of volunteers, or you and your dog!) to solve them sustainably. Also, because I started my first business in college, I love talking with students and offer a great student discount on first-time mentoring sessions. Just ask!
Conversations about the issues people are facing in creative and social enterprise businesses are a big part of my consulting practice. Mentoring sessions are held over Skype or in person (in Nashville, TN). Before our chat, you'll have the opportunity to submit up questions that we'll discuss throughout the hour, and any remaining time will be spent on topics you choose. After the first session, many people sign up for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly sessions for a season.
I typically suggest sessions for a bogged-down entrepreneur in need of a strategy help, a potential entrepreneur desiring counsel about an idea, or a student interested in the process, but feel free to reach out or sign up regardless of whether or not you fit those criteria! View my calendar and schedule a session at the button below, or fill out the form at the bottom of the page to get in touch.
I love working one-on-one with small business and non-profit leaders on longterm projects. My specialties include strategic planning, systems and leadership development, and fundraising planning. These projects often range in length between two and twelve months, and examples include fundraising planning for new initiatives, overhauling website and sales strategies, or developing and implementing a staff leadership plan. These projects are developed individually based on availability, desires, and budget. To set up a time to meet about a project, email me today at firstname.lastname@example.org!
See Potter and Clay Ministries website for an example of a past project.
